Stary Innsbruck / Skocznia / Zamek Ambras / Park zabaw w Oetz, 10 sierpnia 2015 // Old Town Innsbruck / Ski jump / Castle Ambras / Kids park in Oetz

Hotel, w którym nocowaliśmy (Weisses Kreuz), jest hotelem z tradycjami – nocował tu kiedyś Mozart, więc i my chcieliśmy spróbować. Kulek czekoladowych niestety nie zostawił pod poduszką. Za to było dużo stylowych drewnianych mebli utrzymanych w tyrolskiej tradycji. Dlatego też tata postanowił, że dziecko wypadałoby ubrać w tracht (prezent narodzinowy od cioci Magdaleny i wujka Andreasa, których potem mieliśmy odwiedzić) – dziecko nie protestowało – a nawet było zachwycone. Przy śniadaniu i podczas przechadzki po starym mieście robiła furorę 🙂

Po oglądaniu pamiątek w sklepikach wdrapaliśmy się na wieżę miejską – Gabrysia obiegła ją w kółko na szczycie i już jej starczyło. Stąd pojechaliśmy zwiedzać skocznię narciarską (Bergisel) – był czas na kolejna kolejkę na górę, trochę oglądania, a potem schodzenie na nogach po wszystkich schodkach (niektórzy z nas byli niesieni na barana) – kolory całej konstrukcji były według Gabrysi bardzo fascynujące. Muzeum (Kaiserjägermuseum) obok też się Gabrysi podobało – było tu dość dużo ciekawych eksponatów, map, wypchanych zwierzątek i mundurów.

Następnie ruszyliśmy do zamku Ambras (Schloss Ambras), gdzie zwiedzaliśmy komnaty w poszukiwaniu księżniczki Zosi. Wiedzieliśmy, że gdzieś śpi, ale nie mieliśmy pojęcia w której izbie – musieliśmy więc się sporo nachodzić. Niestety jej nie znaleźliśmy, za to zerknęliśmy na różne eksponaty, zwiedziliśmy kaplicę, która się Gabrysi spodobała i oglądaliśmy zbroje rycerskie. Tata dowiedział się, że w parku jest plac zabaw – więc zwiedziliśmy i park. Plac zabaw był bardzo prosty (wyobraź sobie park miejski w Szczecinie w roku 1985), ale dla Gabrysi ta jedna huśtawka i zjeżdżalnia zupełnie wystarczyły. Stary metal nie rdzewieje. Przynajmniej nie w zamku Ambras 🙂

Po tych ekscytacjach był czas na przejażdżkę autem i drzemkę poobiednią (dla wybranych członków ekipy) w samochodzie. Pojechaliśmy do Oetz, gdzie znajduje się największy w Tyrolu darmowy plac zabaw dla dzieci. Jechaliśmy tam trochę ponad 30 minut – znajduje się on w samym centrum Oetz, zaraz przy wyciągu kolejek. Jest on co prawda całkiem duży i fajny, ale nie aż taki duży i fajny jak tata sie spodziewał (niejeden tematyczny plac zabaw w Malmö nie jest gorszy). Gabrysia na pewno nie była zawiedziona. Tematem tego placu jest płukanie złota – są więc różne konstrukcje do przesiewania piasku, lania wody, przesuwania tego i tamtego. Oprócz tego pełno foremek, wiaderek i tym podobnych, no i mostek, drabinki, huśtawka i zjeżdżalnia. Alles klar. Do tego zaraz obok jest fajny basen ze zjeżdżalnią, a tam bar z prostym jedzeniem. Gabrysia nie chciała się kąpać, więc nie korzystaliśmy z basenu (cena około 3 EUR za dorosłego, dzieci za darmo). Parking jest zaraz obok, choć w godzinach szczytu pewnie jest zajęty i trzeba się trochę powspinać. Więcej info o parku znajdziecie tu. Przy jedzeniu niestety mieliśmy małą przygodę – Gabrysię użądliła osa. Na szczęście ratownik z basenu dopomógł robiąc psik-psik (mimo głośnych protestów małej podróżniczki), a pani z kasy poprawiła sytuację częstując Gabrysię lizakiem. Bardzo mila obsługa 🙂

The hotel which we slept in is a traditional one (Weisses Kreuz) – supposedly Mozart himself has spent the night here, hence we wanted to try to do it as well. We did not find any chocolate balls which he might have left under the pillow. But the furniture was kept in the Tirolean tradition. To celebrate this, daddy came up with the brilliant idea of dressing Gabriela up in the traditional Tirolean tracht she got from auntie Magdalena and uncle Andreas (whom we were to visit later) when she was born. She did not protest – on the contrary, she gladly played along. And boy, did she get some attention in the hotel and on the streets of the old town 🙂

After having browsed through the souvenir shops we climbed the city tower, where Gabriela made a quick circle running and wanted to go on with the tour. Next stop was the ski jump (Bergisel) and the attached Kaiserjägermuseum. We took the small train wagon up to the ski jump, enjoyed the view, then walked down the colourful steps all the way to the bottom again (some of us carried others on their muscular backs). Gabriela was fascinated by all the colours and okayed word games using their names. The museum was also something she enjoyed – it turned out to be fun to watch all the exhibited items, maps, stuffed animals and uniforms.

Next stop was castle Ambras (Schloss Ambras) where we sneaked through all the chambers in search of princess Sofia the First. We knew that she is taking her nap somewhere around, but were not sure in which boudoir – hence we had to walk a lot. Unfortunately the search proved to be unsuccesful, but during the quest, we saw a lot of royal items and shiny armours and even found the chapel where Sofia is believed to be seen on a regular basis. Daddy found out that there is a playground at the end of the park, thus we had a new quest – this one proved to be successful! The playground was quite an old and simple one (think East berlin in 1985), but one each of swing and slide was enough for Gabriela – she had fun. Old bars do not rust – unless not at Schloss Ambras 🙂

After all this royal excitement, the time was in for a drive and a nap (for the chosen ones). In less than 40 minutes we reached the Kids Park in Oetz, supposedly the largest free outdoor playground in Tirol. It is just in the centre of Oetz (do not confuse it with Oz – you’ll have to drive a bit longer), next to the ski lift. The park is certainly quite nice and large, but not as much as daddy imagined (rich imagination) – some of the better theme playgrounds in Malmö are on the same level (although not altitude). Gabriela found it really exciting 🙂 The theme here is gold digging, hence there is many a wooden construction for sieving sand, transporting water and moving stuff around. Then there is of course a high swing, a bridge to climb, a slide and other wooden constructions – very nice. All this in a beautiful alpine surrounding. Sweet! On top of that, attached to the park is an outdoor pool with a slide (entrance was around 3 EUR for adults). Gabriela did not want to swim, hence we did use it – but it looked really nice. There were quite some people in the pools, but not too many. There was also a bar with some simple food. While eating, we had a small adventure – Gabriela was stung by a wasp. Thankfully, the lifeguard helped us out with a chilling spray and it got well. The lady selling the tickets to the pool helped quickly providing Gabriela with a lollipop. Very nice service indeed 🙂
